Jane, a former teacher at the high school and university level, got into real estate in 2006 and quickly rose to become the rookie of the year and a top producer at a large local firm. She moved to RE/MAX in 2015 to learn more about the professional, business side of real estate and soon became their top agent. In 2021, Jane was the #1 Realtor for RE/MAX Camosun and in 2022, the #1 Realtor for RE/MAX throughout Greater Victoria. Jane is a certified negotiation expert with proven results in getting more money for her sellers and saving money for her clients on the buying side. Please welcome Kayla Sousa, our newest Realtor, to the Briar Hill Group. Kayla comes to us from working within RE/MAX as an unlicensed assistant for a successful team of realtors. This experience enabled her to see the hard edge of backroom workings in this tough business, and gave her insight into how she would like to work with her clients. Kayla is a very resourceful, optimistic and pragmatic person who enjoys helping people. She is a creative thinker and is solution-focused. She has excellent interpersonal skills and likes working in a fast-paced environment. These skills combined with her big heart mean she's going to work very hard for you, her client. She is a compassionate person, who worked in the vet industry as a Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant. She also worked in the retail service industry, first in sales and then as a manager. She has excellent organizational, management and leadership skills to guide clients expertly through the process of buying and selling homes. Born and raised in Victoria BC, Kayla has always enjoyed being surrounded by nature.  She learned the importance of hard work and compassion, while growing up on a farm in West Saanich.  She can still be seen riding horses or walking her scruffy dog, while also spending quality time with friends and extended family. Kayla is an excellent realtor who looks forward to helping you make your dream home a reality!
